Funeral service for Dorthy Crabb, age 82, of Emory will be held Friday,March 3, 2017 at Elm Baptist Church. Officiating will be Bro. John Stewart. Burial will follow in Elm Cemetery. No visitation has been planned.Mrs. Crabb passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Tyler, at Hospice of EastTexas.
She was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Dallas, to Raymond and Ruby Cox McFarlain. She married Walter Wayne Crabb in Dallas, on Sept. 5,1953. She was a seamstress, and had many friends as customers, as well as the public. Mrs. Crabb was a long time member of Elm Baptist Church and the Elm Community.
Survivors include:
Son: Randy Wayne Crabb (Terri Lynn) of Red Oak
Daughter: Terri Lynn Crabb of Emory
Sister: Jean Dollar Seets (Charles) of Arlington
Grandchildren: Trey Lambert, Brandon Crabb, John Lambert, and DeAnn Crabb
Great-grandchildren: Hannah, Jaxon, River, Henry, Nathan, and Tyler
Beloved little companion: Luah
Numerous other loving family and friends.
