Funeral service for Eugene McCravey, age 90, of Emory, will be Tuesday, 2:00 pm, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Dunbar Cemetery. Bro. Benny Chaffin will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at 1:00 pm. Mr. McCravey passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, in Tyler, at Hospice of East Texas.
He was born in Emory, April 26, 1926, to Claude and Bettie Northcutt McCravey. Mr. McCravey married Katie Lou Fischer in Dallas in 1947. He served his country as a soldier in the U.S. Army.
Mr. McCravey was a cattleman most all of his life.

Wife: Katie McCravey of Emory
Daughters: Marian McCravey Justiss (Steven) of Austin; and, Shirley McCravey Buford of Rusk
Sisters: Charlene Gilbert of Coppell, Willie Ruth Tatum of Austin, and,Bobbie Murray of Dallas
Grandchildren: Katherine Elaine Chaffin, Joseph McCravey Justiss, and Daniel McCravey Justiss
Great-Grandchildren: Sean and Seth Chaffin, and Noam Justiss
