Memorial service for Charles Michael (Mike) Shropshire, age 70, of Sulphur Springs, will be held Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at his home.
Mr. Shropshire passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his home. Mike was born on November 30, 1946 in Sulphur Springs to Charles and Sybil (Reppond) Shropshire, Sr. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
Mike is survived by sons, Darrin Shropshire of Paris, Curt Shropshire and Jay Johnson of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Vikki Shropshire of McKinney, Traci Shropshire of Neylandville and Julie Johnson Morgan and husband Chris of Sherman; father, Charles Shropshire, Sr. of Mt. Pleasant; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandson, Cadance Shropshire.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
