Funeral services for Wynell (Tucker) Duffer, age 83 of Midland, TX, formerly of Hopkins County, TX will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, TX with Buddy Wiggins Officiating.  Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery.  With Jeff Duffer, Josh Duffer, Wes Duffer, Landon Duffer, Cody Duffer, and James, Kevin and Dillan Duffer serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs. Duffer passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Midland Senior Care Center in Midland, TX. She was born December 31, 1932 in Hopkins County to Isaac Moore and Bessie Mae Pickle Tucker. She Married James Duffer on October 9, 1948 in Sulphur Springs, TX and he preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Duffer was a seamstress and had a Barber Shop from home and also worked in the catalog sales department at Sears. She was a member of League Street Church of Christ in Sulphur Springs, TX, Westside Church of Christ in Midland TX, and was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Duffer is survived by daughter, Katherine Jones and Husband Russell of Midland, TX; sons, Billy Joe Duffer, Sr. and wife Joyce of Italy, TX, Randy Duffer and wife Cindy of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Chris Jones, Brita Robinson, Billy Joe Duffer, Jr., Jeff Duffer, Wesley Duffer, Kendra Cagle, Kevin Duffer, and James Duffer; great-grandchildren, Rex Dickens, Kyra Jones, Aaron Jones, Katie Robinson, Ally Robinson, Becca Robinson, Thomas Robinson, Cody Duffer, Jesse Duffer, Jacob Duffer, Ashley Duffer, Josh Duffer, Dillan Duffer, Jocey Duffer, Jewelissa Duffer, Alissa Duffer, Hunter Cagle, Hannah Cagle, Haley Cagle, Holly Cagle, Alexis Borja, Atticus Martinez, and Julia Martinez; and sister, Mary Ferrell.

She is preceded in death by her husband; granddaughter, Melanie Martinez; sisters, Leatrice Stembridge, Beatrice Martin, Buffy McKiddy, Lilly McWilliams, and Marie Adams; brother, Buddy Tucker.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
