Lesa Faye Tallant Stanley

Services for Lesa Faye Stanley, age 93, of McKinney, TX, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be held at the High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney, TX on Monday December 19, 2016 with Monty Stanley officiating.  A private graveside service for the family will be held at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, TX.

Lesa Faye Tallant Stanley was born February 6, 1923 near Princeton, TX to Andrew Lee and Georgia Short Tallant as one of twelve children.  She was an employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company when she met William Ray Stanley.  They were married on May 21, 1949.  Later she worked for the Plano Texas Police Department and was recognized as the first Policewoman for the Plano Police Department.  She was a member of the High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney.

Ms. Stanley is survived by one son, Monty Stanley and wife Susan of Denton, TX and one daughter Judy Seibert and husband Russ of Bergheim, TX; five grandchildren, Angela Shaw and husband Michael, Aileen Stanley, Bryan Stanley, Justin Seibert and wife Darcy, and Kasey Seibert.  She also has four great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Rebecca Shaw, and Will and Mandy Seibert, and a number of extended family members and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Stanley; by her parents, Andrew and Georgia Tallant; and by all her brothers; Henry, Gillem, Luther, Otis, Elbert, Tom, Orvel, Harley, and Odis Tallant; and sisters, Weta Rumsey and Luvenia Boswell.
