Funeral services for Joe Frank Wells Sr., age 76, of Quinlan, TX will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Top Rail Cowboy Church in Greenville, TX with Associate Pastor Mark Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Sulphur Springs, TX. Pallbearers will be Josh Wells, Matthew Wells, Chris Wells, John Wells, Blazye Mabry, Scott Danley, Dee Skidmore, and Marcus Palmer. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 6-8pm at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Wells passed away Sunday, December 18 2016 at his residence in Quinlan, TX. He was born on October 17, 1940 in Brashear, TX to Christopher Columbus Wells and Loreen (Sewell) Wells. He married Donna Faye Wells (Bass) in Dallas, TX. Mr. Wells was Retired from Ballard and Thurman Trucking and was a member of the Top Rail Cowboy Church in Greenville, TX.
Mr. Wells is survived by his son, Joe Wells Jr. and Wife Misty; grandchildren, Joshua Wells, Matthew Wells, Christopher Wells, Ashley Wells, John Wells; great-grandchildren, Paisley Wells, Brooklyn Wells, Gunter Wells, and Madalynn Wells.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and son John Clifton Wells.
