Funeral services for Barbara Jean Joslin France, age 64, of Nelta, will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, with Rev. Edgar Clements and Pastor Vern Hawkins, officiating and David Joslin assisting. A private burial will follow later at Nelta Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. France passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1952, in Hopkins County, the daughter of William and Edith (Logan) Joslin. She attended Sulphur Bluff school, graduating in 1970. Barbara was employed with Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab for 25+ years. She was a member of Birthright Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by her husband, David France; daughters, Pamela Morris and husband L. A. of Sulphur Springs, Penny K. Jetton and Kelly Kaslon of Como; five grandchildren, Bryan Ramsey, Kaleb Kaslon, Hailey Fouse, Jessica Anderson and Jacob Morris; one great grandchild, Bailey Ramsey; brothers, Joe Don Joslin and wife Janiece of Sulphur Bluff, Cecil Joslin of Nelta, Asa Joslin of Brashear, David Joslin and wife Rhonda of Dike; sisters, Billie Cockrell and husband DeWayne of Sulphur Springs, Edie Edwards and Harold of Caddo Mills; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Daniel Jetton.
