Funeral service for Steve Melton, Sr. will be held on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 27, 2016, at Believer’s Baptist Church. Bro. Jason Rolen will officiate, along with several speakers. Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Melton passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, Nov. 20, in Dodson at his son’s ranch.He was born March 3, 1950, in Fairfield, AL. to George Ernest and Charlotte June Capps Melton. During his working career he was self-employed working in process piping. He married Eula Mae “Smiley” Henderson in Alabama on Feb. 8, 1969.

Brother: Ricky Melton (Diane) of Hueytown, AL
Grandchildren: Leslie, McKenna, Hannah, McKlane, Landon, Brian, David, Dustin, and Taylor
Great-grandchildren: Lane, Everlee, anc Carson
Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife; Son, Michael Shannon Melton; and, Grandson, Austin Fields;
