Thunderstorm continue to move through Hopkins County Tuesday night (November 22) but no severe weather has occurred by 9 p.m. Cloud to ground lightening has been the only concern along with heavy rains that were intense at times through 9 p.m. Some nuisance flooding in localized areas could continue through the night. Currently no weather warnings are in effect for Hopkins and surrounding counties.
The thunderstorms are moving southwest to northeast across the county. Thunderstorm are expected to continue until midnight or later. Super cell thunderstorms are possible according to the National Weather Service.
