Rickey Dale Carter was born in Plainview, on January 13, 1960, to Charles Vernon and Joan Alexis Cooper Carter.  He married Judy Gayle Houck in Emory on February 22, 1997.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Moss Construction.  He was a Christian.

Survivors include: Wife: Judy Gayle Carter of Point;
Son: Jess Garner Carter of Point;
Daughter: Magel Ann Jasso (Tamer Elberry) of Forney;
Brother: Robert Dean Carter (Cindy) of Wills Point;
Father: Charles Vernon Carter of Dewar, OK;
Grandchildren: Brandon Lowe Morgan and Mason Amir Elberry;
Numerous other loving family or friends;

Preceded by: Mother; Son: John Michael Jasso; Brother: Vernon Carter; and Sister: Theresa Carter
