Jackie Lee Smith, age 63, of Emory, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at his home.
Full military funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Lake Fork Baptist Church in Alba with Bro. Bud Allred and Bro. Danny Meek officiating. Visitation will be at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory on Tuesday evening 5:00-7:00 PM. Interment, following service, will be at Lake Fork Memorial Cemetery in Alba with military detail present.
Jackie Lee Smith was born in Greenville on June 10, 1953 to Willie Jackson and Gladys Calhoun Smith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Linda Sue Cates Mason in Durant, OK on September 1, 1988. He worked as a printing press operator at a printing production company. He was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church in Alba.

Daughter & Son-in-law: Jessica Burris (Randall) of Sulphur Springs;
Step-daughter: Dusty Norris (Phil Starkes) of Emory;
Step-son: Danny Mason, Jr. (Dana) of Princeton;
Grandson: Christopher Mason (Ashlei) of Royse City;
Great-grandsons: Piercen and Oaklee Burris of Sulphur Springs;
Great-granddaughter: Hazlei Mason of Royse City;
Brothers: David Smith (Jean) of Grand Prairie; Billy Wayne Smith (Judy) of San Antonio; and Roger Dail Smith of Greenville;
Sister: Carol Woodworth of Greenville
Nieces and Nephews: Tracey Fields, Lisa Brooke, Tammy Middleton, and Kyle Goen
