Chamber Connection-September 1st

Thank you to everyone who attended the Speed Networking event at Cedar Canyon!  It truly was a fun and eventful night.  Cedar Canyon, located on Highway 154, is simply a stunning venue.  Those new to Cedar Canyon scoped out the beautiful venue while enjoying delicious food and dessert provided by Lyndsay’s Plates + Provisions.  Doc Flesher of The Communications Coaching Group welcomed the crowd and explained the many aspects of communication and networking.  Over 70 people then participated in the speed networking portion of the evening.  After the event concluded, many business owners stated that they were thankful to have the opportunity to meet so many people they otherwise would not have met.  And so, with all of these pieces in place, the night was a HUGE success!!! Beautiful door prizes were donated by: Danna’s and The Florist, Lou Nell’s, Everything Unique, Shoe Inn, Miss Behavin, Sister Babyz, Carriage House Manor, The Bookworm Box, and Gourmet Kitchen and Company. Thank you so much to Doc Flesher, Mandy Kennedy and Jennifer Massey of Cedar Canyon, Lyndsay and Daniel Palmer and their team at Lyndsay’s Plates + Provisions, Dwayne Sears from Ben E. Keith, John Poskey of Blackjack, board members Stephanie Stevens and Charlotte Baxter, and my faithful Chamber team Cathey Williams and Brittany Bryant.  I am thankful for all of you!
