Rosary and visitation for Jose Enrique Tovar age, 61, of Pickton will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the West Oaks Funeral Home.
Mr. Tovar died Tuesday, morning at the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in San Jose de Viborillas, San Miguel Allende, GTO, Mexico the son of Patricio and Maria Guadalupe Correa. He married Nieves Gallegos on October 23, 1987 in San Miguel Allende and she survives.
Mr. Tovar was dairy farmer for many years and a member of St. James Catholic church.
He is survived by his wife, Nieves Tovar of Pickton, TX, father Patricio Tovar of San Miguel Allende, two sons; Eleazar Tovar and Manuel Enrique Tovar of Pickton; five daughters; Herminia, Guadalupe, Maria de la Luz, Juana and Christina Tovar all from the Como-Pickton area. Four brothers; Sabas Tovar of San Miguel, Pascaul Tovar, Francisco Tovar both of Terrell, David Tovar of Florida. Four sisters; Juana Tovar and Amelia Tovar of San Miguel, Lucia Tovar of Oklahoma and Antonia Tovar of Austin. Sixteen grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
