Graveside services for Linda Marie Vliet, age 73 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 27 2016 at Restlawn Memorial Park with Bro. Charlie Beliew officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Linda passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1943 in Newberry, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Lorraine (Alexander) Martin. She married Eugene Raymond Vliet on March 16, 1973. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was a retired office manager and a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Gorton of Sulphur Springs and Todd Gorton and wife, Alesha of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Sherri Baker and husband, Mark of Sulphur Springs and Martha Gregory and husband, Cephis of Sulphur Springs; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Martin and wife, Missy of Newberry, Michigan and sister, Judy Brown and husband, Bob of Newberry, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Michelle Vliet Ballard and Brandi Lynn Vliet and two brothers, William Martin and Robert Martin.
