Pilot Club planning Brunch

Sulphur Springs Pilot Club members are finalizing plans for their Spring Brunch coming up Saturday March 26. It will begin at 10am at League St. Church of Christ. A delicious spread of various brunch items, a silent auction and program are part of the much-anticipated annual event for local ladies. Tammy Whitehurst of Joy for the Journey Ministries will again be the speaker. Tammy’s goal is to encourage and inspire women of all ages and walks of life, and uses laughter and life experiences to educate and entertain. Tickets are $15, available from Jane Goldsmith at 903-348-5099, Joy Wilson at 903-885-9966, from any Pilot Club member and at the door.  Plan to be there! During the club’s February 25 meeting, held in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church, an informal program was presented by Nancy Rooks about Dinner Bell’s “Community Partner” program for service clubs. If your club or organization would like to host a Wednesday Dinner Bell lunch, contact First UMC at 903-885-2185. Pilot Club of Sulphur Springs has several projects for 2016 that committees are working on. New members are welcome!
