Funeral services for Oddie M. Conville, age 79 of Greenville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Duncan Graham officiating. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery with Rickey Vaughan, Chase Vaughan, Jonathan Crumpton, Brian Travis, Curtis Travis and Chris Travis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Travis, Brandon Travis and Aaron Wall. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Oddie passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Baylor University Medical Center in Garland. She was born on October 1, 1936 in Bristol, the daughter of William Riley and Meddie Ione (Reynolds) Pate. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church – Cumby.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Wayne Travis of Cumby; daughters, Sherry Crumpton of Cumby, Tammy Vaughan and husband, Rickey of Cumby and Karen Gafford of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Eric Travis, Brian Travis, Brandon Travis, Anease Travis, Tiffany Tadlock, Jonathan Crumpton, Chase Vaughan, Erin Vaughan and Chris Travis; great-grandchildren, Landon Tadlock, Patrick Travis, Logan Travis, Triston Travis, Amber Travis, Isaiah Travis, Kaden Rawson, Kyle Travis, Brooklyn Travis and Adam Hinton; brother, William Pate, Jr. of Dallas and sister, Faye Tarno of Cumby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; son, Billy Travis, sister and brother.
