This time it was much closer as the Lady Cats Basketball Team defeated the Marshall Lady Mavericks on the road, 43-36 Friday night. The first time they met, the Lady Cats won handily, 50-13 in Wildcats Gym on December 18. The win puts the Lady Cats solidly in second place with a 7-2 district record. Hallsville remains in first place at 8-1 after they picked up a solid win at Longview Friday night.
Next the Lady Cats travel to Texas High Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. The Lady Cats topped the Lady Tigers, 48-37 in Wildcats Gym back on December 21.ll
