Based on radar indication of a rotation within a severe thunderstorm near Grand Saline, TX, a tornado warning has been issued for Van Zandt and Rains Counties. The dangerous storm will be near Emory around 3:40 p.m. and is moving north, northeast toward Hopkins County and the city of Sulphur Springs.
Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles is probable. Tree damage is likely.
Those in Van Zandt and Rains counties should find shelter now! KSST will continue to monitor this storm and others in the area.
