Funeral services for Orena Reynolds, age 91 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, with Rev. B. J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Orena passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 4, 1924 in Booneville, Mississippi, the daughter of Joel W. and Keziah (Goddard) McCoy. She was married to Clarence Reynolds in Bennettsville, South Carolina on October 7, 1944. Orena was a retired sales associate with K-Mart and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons, Billy C. Reynolds of Sulphur Springs and Don E. Reynolds of Euless; daughter, Rhonda Joyce Batchelor of Winnsboro; sister Ophelia Ingram of Soso, MS; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers and one sister.
