Funeral Services for Junior Neal, age 88 of Dike, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Noel Bailey and Shane Carrington officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Ricky Massey, Jonah Massey, Wade Bartley, Joel Pace, Shawn Phillips and Steve Tubb serving as pallbearers. His grandchildren are honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Junior passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Cottages at Carriage House Manor. He was born on November 29, 1927, the son of Ira D., Sr. and Gladys (Bartley) Neal in Chillicothe. He married Alice Lynell Rasure, who preceded him in death. He then married Virginia Price. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a retired dairyman/farmer and was a member of Dike Church of Christ.
Along with his wife, survivors include his sons, Mike Neal and wife, Rhonda of Dike, Freddy Tubb and wife, Kay of Elkhart and Danny Tubb and wife, Renee of Dike, daughters, Debra Isham and husband, Scott of Dike and Christy Greer and husband, Richard of Dike; brother, Gene Neal and wife, Patsy of Dike; grandchildren, Justin Neal, Jason Neal, Jonathan Neal, Blake Isham, Brianna Isham, Kara Monk, Sharee Whitson, Laura Jones, Brian Tubb, Anthony Pennington, Deseray Greer, Alexis Greer and Brenden Greer and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Along with his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, W.E. Neal and Eldon Neal and three sisters, Ruth Baker, Willadean Irvin and Billie June Neal.
