Dec 26, 2015 – A tornado warning for Hopkins County expired at 4:15 p.m. Saturday when the severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado diminished in intensity. However a second tornado warning for Rains County was issued to end at 5 p.m. This storm is following the same path as the earlier storm and will pass through Hopkins County implicating Sulphur Springs and Como in its path.
KSST will continue to monitor the situation. Hopkins County is under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. this evening.
