Carter Blood Care had their fall blood drive at Sulphur Springs High School Friday. Christy McCullough, Director of the Blue Blazes Drill Team, said a number of student organizations were involved in the effort.
About 187 students signed up to give. Health Science Technology Education students, members of the Blue Blazes Drill Team and students in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America assisted with the drive. Some teachers gave blood for some students who couldn’t give and the students got credit.
