NETBIO Ribeye Roundup Friday provided competition for various levels of ribeye cooking. Twenty-two teams competed in the Amateur Division: Hopkins County Farm Bureau placed first, Legacy Ag Credit placed second, Wood County Farm Bureau was third, Titus County Farm Bureau came in at forth, and fifth place Alliance Bank. Legacy Ag Credit donated their prize money to the Sulphur Springs High School Culinary Class and the Quitman Young Farmers who assisted with their entry.
In the Restaurant Division: Seth’s Lake Fork Creek was named Reserve Champion and Sulphur Springs Country Club was named Grand Champion.
