Corvette Show Success Despite Rain

vette 2With dismal weather forecast for last Friday and Saturday, expectations were not high for attendance at this year’s local Corvette show.  Local Corvette Club members were pleasantly surprised when 68 cars showed up.  There were Corvettes from 13 model classes from a Class 1 1958 model to .some new Z06’s in a SIC Class.

Tim Gee, Vice President of the local Corvette Club, stated, “We were really pleased…We were thrilled this many showed up with this kind of weather.” Gee noted that with water on the highways and the Corvette riding low to the ground, many would not want to drive in for the show. He stated that last year around 160 entered the event.

Gee stated the local club now has 55 members and continues to grow.
