Parents Receive Guidelines for Homecoming Deliveries to Schools

Homecoming MumsHomecoming for Sulphur Springs schools is Friday, September 11th. Many parents, homecoming dates, and others often have flowers and others memorabilia sent to the school for students during the day. SSISD asks that specific delivery guidelines be followed for Homecoming items. Below is a list of schools and their specific guidelines:

PK – 5th Grade Students

Parents of students in grades PK-5 are asked not to deliver or request any Homecoming items to be delivered to the campuses.

Students in grades PK-5 are not allowed to wear Homecoming mums or other Homecoming decorative items at school. Homecoming T-shirts are permitted.

SSMS Students

Parents may bring Homecoming flowers or gifts to the middle school before 2:45pm on Friday. Please attach a note with the student’s name and grade on the item, and give the secretary a separate note to send to the student. They will pick up their Homecoming flowers or gifts at the end of the instructional day.

SSHS Students

Parents may bring Homecoming flowers or gifts to the high school before 3:00pm on Friday. Please attach a note with the student’s name and grade on the item. They will pick up their Homecoming flowers or gifts at the end of the instructional day.

Florists can also deliver items to SSMS and SSHS. The schools have notified them of delivery protocol.

Any questions regarding the policy should be directed to the individual school.
