A 16-year old North Hopkins student, Jose Tapia, died Friday as the result of a one vehicle rollover accident on County Road 4782, according to Justice of the Peace B. J. Teer. Teer said two other individuals in the vehicle were treated at the scene and released to their parents. Tapia’s body was sent to Mesquite for autopsy.
CR 4782 is a loose graveled road in the North Hopkins area. The vehicle rolled three times and struck a tree. The investigation of the accident continues.
