”Walk Like MADD”!

M.A.D.DKelli Martinez, Special Events Manager of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Tyler Region and Officer Corley Weatherford of the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department guested on the KSST Good Morning Show with Enola Gay this morning.

They are reminding the community about the “Walk Like MADD” event coming up on September 26 in Buford Park. Walkers of all ages are welcome to register and show support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Registration is now going on. For Hopkins County’s third annual Walk Like Madd event, a Car Show has been added. Ms. Martinez has a special place in her heart for the local event as she is originally from the Cumby area of Hopkins County. She stays quite busy overseeing events and walks in 50 Texas counties, but is just a phone call away for those who support the MADD organization.

With questions or for additional information, you can reach Kelli Martinez at 903-534-6000, Ext 4804 or www.madd.org/easttexas
