The Continuing Education Department at the Paris Junior College – Sulphur Springs Center is offering medical and software training courses to the public during the month of July.

Microsoft Word Level 1 covers creating, saving and opening documents; editing documents; cut/copy/paste and find/replace; formatting text and paragraphs; formatting documents; creating and formatting tables. The class will meet Fridays from 1 to 4:30 p.m., July 10-17.
The Initial Basic Life Support class on lifesaving skills for respiratory and cardiac emergencies will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 24. The American Heart Association certifies the class.
Microsoft Access Level 1 is a database program used to manage data that is organized into lists, such as information about customers, products, inventory, sales, vendors, etc. The class will meet on Friday, July 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Windows Essentials teaches creating, copying and deleting files using the Windows operating system, entering and editing data and customizing Windows to fit the user’s needs. The class will meet on Fridays from 1 to 4:30 p.m., July 24-31.
Basic Life Support Recertification for CPR certified cardholders is offered from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29. The American Heart Association certifies the class.
