Hopkins County Memorial Hospital’s new Multispecialty Clinic of Sulphur Springs, which opens Tuesday at 107 Medical Circle, will feature pulmonary, neurology, endocrine and allergy services. Included will be the hospital’s new neurologist Dr. Vikas Pandey.
Dr. Chris Gallagher, Chief Medical Officer at HCMH, says the telemedicine will provide medical treatment using digital technology. Charts, records, and all imaging from Memorial clinics are available in an electronic format that enables high quality medical services even from distance. This will assist patients in the local area by limiting travel to urban areas for treatment. Telemedicine also enables a wider variety of specialties to the local area.
