A memorial service for Ruth Taack (tack) Macy, 91, of Old Tarrant Community, will be conducted Saturday March 21, at 3 p.m. at Shannon Oaks Church. She passed away March 10 in Hopkins County Memorial Hospital
She was born in 1923 in Broadus, Montana. She was a member of Shannon Oaks Church, maker of Bud’s Buffalo Cream, and was know as “The Apple Butter Lady” at Folk Festival in Heritage Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hopkins County Historical Society.
