Funeral services for Bonnie Mae Starrett, age 73 of Sulphur Springs were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Crist and Pastor James McKee officiating. Interment was at Restlawn Memorial Park with Bill Alexander, Wesley Crist, Bo Kyle, Charles Edwards, Britney Starrett, Charles Starrett, Stephen Starrett and Nathan Crist serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Carlton Sewell, John Barker and Paul Williams. Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mrs. Starrett passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. She was born in DeRidder, LA on July 16, 1941, the daughter of Allie Lee and Elva (Harper) Sewell. She was a homemaker and a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include: sons, Stephen Wayne Starrett and wife, Mary and Charles Edward Starrett and wife, Teresa; brothers, L.D. Sewell and Gene Sewell; sister, Elaine Carpenter; grandchildren, Nicole Starrett, Britney Starrett, Kara Kyle, Bo Kyle and Callie Starrett; great-grandchildren, Haylee Kyle and Natalee Kyle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Callie Sewell.
