Floyd and Martha Payton were in Pittsburg on Saturday for a get together with members of Martha’s family. They met at the home of B. C. Honzell. Those in attendance were Von Honzell of Wylie, Marvin and Karen Stebbins of Garland, David and Trish Honzell of Garland, Floyd and Martha Payton of Tira, Ann Sullivan of Longview, Ruth and Ray Prim of Benbrook, Margaret Benoit of Aurora, Colorado, Nelda Gordon of Palestine and Lon Honzell of Pittsburg.
Martha shared, “Lunch consisted of chicken and rice soup, chicken stew, desserts of Italian Cream cake, delicious sugarless bundt cake, brownies and chocolate peanut clusters, along with cornbread and an assortment of crackers, finger vegetables with dips. It was a beautiful day for such an event.”

Joyce Dodd took her grandson, Trenton Dodd, out to lunch at El Charro for his 19th birthday. Trenton is a student at Paris Junior College – attending at the Sulphur Springs campus. Joyce said she always enjoys any time that she can spend with him.
