During an interview with his probation officer, a 46-year old Sulphur Springs man reportedly admitted to being involved with child pornography. Another interview with Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies lead to seizure of the man’s phone and other electronic devices. Robert Dwayne Allen was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography before Justice of the Peace Brad Cummings who set bond totaling $75,000, or $15,000 for each count. Sheriff’s Chief Criminal Investigator Lewis Tatum said more counts may be filed. Allen has also been arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child and unauthorized possession of a handgun by a felon.
