Miller Grove News by Brandon Darrow

I’m happy to report this week that my nephew, Brody Darrow, received the Student of the Month award from Central Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs where he attends their pre-k classes.

Please continue to pray for Faye Tipps while she is having problems with her legs. She has been in a lot of pain lately.
Happy Birthday this week to Kaden Mabe on Feb. 2, Lance Mabe on Feb. 4, and Stephen Sparks on Feb. 6.

Happy 11th Anniversary to Leon and Donna (Vititow) Asbill on Feb. 6.

Friday will be MG High School’s annual homecoming ballgame. JV will begin playing at 5:00 p.m. followed by the varsity girls and then varsity boys teams. Homecoming court will consist of Lilla Csenksey, Miranda Frobish, Lacey Taylor, Mika Massey, Destri Danley, William Clinton, Dustin Emerick, Logan Miller, Aaron Smith and Tatom Sink. Our Hornets will battle against Savoy in the Homecoming game.

Monday, Miller Grove School Board members will travel to Blue Ridge to inspect their newly constructed buildings to get some ideas on how to add on to our current elementary school building.

As you travel the highways and byways don’t forget that all roads lead back home and back to Miller Grove. Please send me any newsworthy information. My email address is [email protected]
