A Sulphur Springs High School Culinary Arts Team finished second at the Regional FCCLA
convention in Waco last weekend and qualified for state competition in Corpus Christi in early
April. Team members are Leon Johnson, Deketra Mosley and Destiny Watkins. The students
earned $2,000 in scholarship money to attend a culinary academy. They prepared steak Diane,
Indian soup, chocolate mousse, mashed potatoes and broccoli.
