Tommy and Patti Wiebold are proud to announce the birth of their first granddaughter, Zoe Lynn Rasco, born on December 31, 2014 at Baylor McKinney. Her parents are Kristie Lynn Wiebold and Tyler Rasco. Both mom and baby are doing fine – resting at home, with the help of Kristie’s mom, Patti. Patti says Zoe has brought so much joy to their family and it truly a gift from God. Congratulations to the Wiebold and Rasco families!

Kim Beck reports, “Our son, Jackson Daily, turned 21 on New Year’s Eve. Our other son, Jason Beck, left on December 30th for three weeks in Europe. He and some friends from the University of Texas are traveling to Paris, Prague, and Istanbul. Lee Beck and a friend went to Buffalo on a hunting trip, but the weather was awful and they came home empty-handed.” Later Kim informed me that Jason had left Paris before the terror attacks and had made it safely to Prague.

Ellis and Debbie Dicus report having a great Christmas. All their kids were home, except for their grandson, who is stationed in Okinawa, Japan and their granddaughter, Amanda Bisenius, who was in Mississippi with her fiancé, for a surprise birthday party. The family has been getting ready for Amanda’s wedding, which is this weekend at Peerless Baptist Church.

Chip and I visited Larry and Dorothy Fitzgerald in Somerville last weekend. We attended church with them on Sunday. While there we enjoyed visiting, eating, and, of course, playing cards. Larry and Chip enjoyed beating Dorothy and me, but we agreed that the guys had all the luck!
