Wildcats Powerlifting Coach Jeremy Offutt expects to have 300 to 350 lifters at the annual Sulphur Springs Powerlifting Meet Saturday. Coach Offutt says the Wildcats should have 15 lifters including a couple of first time competitors. Veterans Jesse Ortiz and Scott Galarza are out with injuries. The action gets underway Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students. I talked about the meet Thursday morning with Wildcats Powerlifting Coach Jeremy Offutt.
