The Hopkins County United Way Drive exceeded its $160,000 goal by almost $28,000 after funds were reported at the 8th and final report meeting Thursday morning. Drive Chair Chris Voorheese expects some more funds to come in in days ahead. The drive total stands at $187,907. Voorheese, in his second year as Drive Chair, referred to this year’s drive as great and a blessed campaign.
