Hopkins County AgriLife Extension Agent Johanna Hicks is offering a sewing workshop at the Extension Office on Houston Street on Saturday, January 31. It was originally just for 4H students and Ms. Hicks has now opened it up to anyone because of requests for such a class. Ms. Hicks says you can bring your favorite sewing machine. Some machines are available at the workshop site. Ms. Hicks says work will center on cutting and sewing a quilt block. Those wanting to attend are urged to make a reservation by calling the Extension Office at 903 885-3443
