The Sulphur Springs Police Department is investigating the armed holdup of a gas station convenience store at Broadway at Shannon Road just after 4 Monday morning. The robber showed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded the cash drawer. The suspect wore a mask and is a white male about six-foot tall and of medium to slender build. He escaped in a white pickup. It was the fourth armed robbery in town during the past four months.
