At a recent meeting of the Texas Downtown Association in Granbury, Downtown Sulphur Springs was used as a case study for use of public spaces and for branding. City Director of Community Development Shane Shepard was pleasantly surprised. Shepard added he was able to distribute about 150 packets on Sulphur Springs to developers interested in Texas at an International Shopping Centers conference. Shepard said a Schlotzsky’s Sandwich Shop is coming to town soon.
