Dare to Dream Rally at the SSISD

The fifth-graders at Douglas Intermediate School continue to learn about being leaders in the Dare to Dream program. It began as a summer camp and continues with reinforcement of a soft skill each month. At a pep rally Wednesday morning, the topic was listening. High school students, who are acting as mentors, and church youth leaders, are also a part of the program. School district Character Curriculum Coordinator Jeff Harris interviewed High School Student Body President Payton Howard on the importance of listening and then some Douglas’ students answered questions about the interview.
