Wildcats Marching Band Director Charles McCauley said he couldn’t be prouder of his band after they received a score of one from every judge at the UIL Band Contest in Mt. Pleasant Thursday. McCauley said the Thursday performance was a culmination of everything as it all came together for a great performance. He was glad the students were rewarded for all their hard work. Unfortunately the band has no future destination, as this is a non-advancing year. McCauley called the rule unfair. He felt this year’s show was the band’s most competitive in years.
