During a regular meeting Monday morning, the Hopkins County Commissioners Court will consider two matters involving the Civic Center: considering purchase of a new credit card processor and considering an ATM agreement. The court will also consider purchase of two pick up trucks. The court will also take up an advance funding agreement and resolution with the Texas Department of Transportation for bridge replacement or rehabilitation in precinct 1. The meeting will take place in the Commissioners Courtroom in the County Courthouse.
During work session during the week, the court will discuss the Sheriff’s and County Fire departments operations and the county budget. The court will also have meetings concerning the new county jail construction project. The court is also schedule to attend a meeting at Sulphur Springs City Hall Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. An item concerning the new county jail construction project is on the agenda.
