Early voting for the November General Election ends Friday at 5 p.m. at the Sulphur Springs Public Library. The regular election day is on Tuesday with voting from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. at polling sites throughout the county. There are national and statewide races on the ballot. Locally, Hopkins County voters will decide a race for County Treasurer and also a JP race in Precinct 1.
The November General Election takes place Tuesday in Hopkins County at 21 polling sites all over the county from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Voter ID is in effect. County Clerk Debbie Shirley says there are two new sites: at New City Hall instead of Old City Hall and at Brashear Baptist Church Small Fellowship Hall not at the Brashear Community Center. There are county races for Treasurer and JP in Precinct 1 only.
