Wednesday will mark a change for the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Kelly Wiser will visit North Hopkins, his first school as DARE Officer, officially replacing Sgt. Brad Cummings who has done the job the past five years. The DARE position opened up after Sgt. Cummings was elected as JP in Precinct 2. Deputy Wiser prepared to take over by attending a two-week school in Mississippi.
