At a regular meeting Monday morning, the Hopkins County Commissioners Court is expected to adopt its’ budget for next fiscal year and the tax rate for the budget. The tax rate is increasing more than 5-cents per $100 valuation because of the new County Jail Project. The court will also have work sessions with Sedalco Construction on the new County Jail project and with the Sheriff, Fire Chief and with volunteer fire departments
