The Hopkins County Commissioners Court has scheduled two public hearings for a Monday meeting at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the first floor of the County Courthouse. One public hearing is for the tax rate in the proposed budget that is going up more than 5-cents due to the new county jail project. A second public hearing is for the proposed budget.
