Funeral Service for Brandie C. Askew, 35, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 208 Fuller, Sulphur Springs with Pastor Harold B. Nash and Dr. M. Lavelle Hendricks, Eulogist. Burial will follow at St. Luke Cemetery, with Marcus Johnson, Billy Harris, Bobby Harrison, Jr., Larry Johnson, Marcus Hill, and Tony Johnson serving as pallbearers. Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mason & Mason Mortuary.

Brandie C. Askew died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her residence. Brandie C. Askew was born March 11, 1979 in Sulphur Springs to Cynthia Harrison Davis and Lawrence Askew, Jr. Her mother preceded her in death. Mrs. Askew was a graduate of South Grand Prairie High School and was employed for 12 years as a Phlebotomist with Hopkins County Memorial Hospital until her health failed.

Mrs. Askew leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Destiny Jones; one grandson, JaKayden Jones; two fathers, Lawrence Askew, Jr. and Milton Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
