Ray Dean Mitchell, 61, of Arlington, passed away Saturday evening, August 9, 2014 at his weekend property just East of Emory, where he had the intention of retiring. Private visitation is scheduled for the family Thursday, August 14, 2014, 12:00-1:00 PM, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery.

Ray was born on June 16, 1953, in Ft. Worth, to Clovis Dean and Theo Rae Tanton Mitchell. He married Emogene Ruth Jukes.

Survivors include:

Loving wife:  Emogene Mitchell of Arlington
2 Sons:  Clovis Duane Mitchell, and wife Jezzieca, of Arlington, and Bradley James Mitchell of Arlington
Daughter:  Cathy Rae Mitchell of Arlington
Mother:  Theo Mitchell of Arlington
2 Sisters:  Linda Batten, and husband, Michael of Arlington, and Lori Mitchell of Arlington
2 Grandchildren:  Caleb Mitchell and Cheyenne Mitchell
